【前言】
《新起点高职英语综合教程(第2版)》以党的二十大报告精神为指引,以国务院印发的《国家职业教育改革实施方案》为纲,落实立德树人根本任务,体现中华优秀传统文化和社会主义先进文化,弘扬工匠精神,着力培养德智体美劳全面发展的社会主义建设者和接班人。
教材依照《高等职业教育专科英语课程标准(2021年版)》(以下简称《标准》)编写,以实现《标准》中提出的“一般要求”为目标,以能有效满足高职学生英语学习需求为宗旨。教材以建构主义理论为指导,以学生为中心,充分体现“职业教育与普通教育是两种不同教育类型”的定位,培养学生的英语综合应用能力,特别是在职场环境下运用英语的能力。
教师手册共三册,除提供学生用书的文化背景知识介绍、练习参考答案和课文参考译文之外,还从重点词汇用法、句法结构和难句理解等方面对课文作了深入解读。编者就如何有效地使用学生用书和更好地组织教学,提出了可供参考的教学方法、教学安排的设想和方案。
教师手册每单元由教学目标与要求(Teaching Goals and Requirements)、教学方案(Suggested Teaching Plan)、语言讲解与文化要点(Language and CultureFocus)、练习答案(Key to Exercises)和参考译文(Translation)5个部分组成。
教学目标与要求(Teaching Goals and Requirements)明确各个单元不同模块应达到的教学目标和预期效果。各单元重点操练的单词、词组和句型以表格的方式予以呈现,便于任课教师查看。
教学方案(Suggested Teaching Plan)提供可供选择的一种或多种教学结构框架,任课教师可根据不同学校的具体教学大纲和教学课时选择和组合各自的教学方案。在导入板块的视频部分提供重点词汇的讲解和操练语料;在听力部分,提供语音讲解和操练语料以及听力训练相应表达的比较与辨析;在精读部分,根据不同的课文体裁和内容提供不同的讲解范例,将课文中的多种练习与课文讲解有效地结合起来,促使学生加深对课文的理解;在语法部分,提供多种形式的操练语料。在教学方案的设计中,编者适当地扩充了词汇辨析、文化比较等方面的内容与相关练习,帮助任课教师打开思路,拓展教学。
语言讲解与文化要点(Language and Culture Focus)主要提供难句和词语的解释与翻译、词语操练例句和文化背景知识,结合语言点的特点,适当扩充了基本构词法、词法和句法等相关知识,旨在使学生在语境下学习、理解、积累,掌握词语、词组、句型,逐步实现意义建构并发展成为语言应用能力。
练习答案(Key to Exercises)提供学生用书中全部练习的参考答案。主观题答案既简明扼要又切题具体,方便任课教师指导学生提高学习效率,同时还可以作为教师批改作业的参考依据。
参考译文(Translation)提供课文译文。译文尽可能采用直译法,只在直译无法体现原文深层含义或译文不符合汉语表达习惯的情况下才使用意译,或直译与意译相结合的策略。
教师手册配有PPT课件和TOP(Teaching Operation Planner)课件,所见即所教,鼓励教师整合教学资源,实现个性化教学。教师还可以通过WE平台获取更多教学资源。
由于编者的水平和经验有限,教材中的不足之处在所难免,恳请广大师生和读者不吝赐教,以便我们今后修订和完善。
