介绍
“牛津应用语言学丛书”以语言教学为中心，强调理论与实践相结合，重视实用性和可操作性，开展跨学科和多学科的研究，全面反映了当今国际应用语言学研究的学术水平和新的研究成果。
丛书的作者大都是从事“英语作为第二语言教学”的资深教授以及从事应用语言学或相关学科研究的高级研究人员，例如：H·G·威多森是伦敦大学教育学院的对外英语教授；世界级大师H·H·斯特恩曾担任安大略教育研究学院现代语言中心主任，是加拿大卓越的教学法专家之一；R·埃利斯是美国费城坦普尔大学教育学院教授，长期从事作为第二语言的英语教学和研究工作；J·辛克莱是英国伯明翰大学的现代英语教授，以一直致力于建立和改进COBUILD语料库而闻名于世。
